Prishtina, January 27, 2026 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo was pleased to host the newly appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh in Kosovo, H.E. Muhammad Zulqar Nain, for a constructive discussion on the potential to strengthen economic cooperation between Kosovo and Bangladesh, as well as opportunities for enhanced trilateral engagement involving the United States.

We were particularly encouraged to learn that the United States is one of Bangladesh’s major trading partners, highlighting the strong economic ties between the two countries and the important role of U.S. markets in Bangladesh’s economic growth.

His Excellency also expressed a clear interest in advancing stronger economic relations between Kosovo and Bangladesh, including through trade, investment, and private-sector partnerships.
