Prishtina, March 4, 2026 – The Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo (AmCham), Arian Zeka, met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kosovo, Arben Vitia, to discuss the legislative agenda in the healthcare sector and potential areas of cooperation between public institutions and the private sector.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on current and upcoming legislative initiatives affecting the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as opportunities for strengthening dialogue between policymakers and industry representatives.
On this occasion, Zeka congratulated Minister Vitia on his recent appointment once again to lead the Ministry of Health and expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s willingness to engage with stakeholders from the private sector.
Zeka reaffirmed AmCham’s commitment to contributing to policy discussions and legislative processes through its Life Sciences & Healthcare Committee, which brings together member companies operating in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between institutions and the private sector in order to support effective healthcare policies, improve access to medicines, and strengthen the overall sustainability of Kosovo’s healthcare system.
