Executive Director and Staff

He was appointed in the position of Executive Director of AmCham in 2012, promoting the public image of the Association by serving as the Chamber’s “ambassador-at-large,” and liaising on behalf of its members with other leaders of Kosovo and international business community. Under his leadership, in 2013 AmCham Kosovo was the Chamber with the largest membership acquisition among 43 AmChams in Europe. Also, under his leadership, AmCham established Charity Foundation (2012), Woodrow Wilson Chess School (2016), and Theodore Roosevelt Institute of Economic Research (2017), whereas has further strengthened the capacities of the Arbitration Center, where he also sits as an ex-officio member of the Steering Council. Arian is a Member of AAB College Steering Council; Member of the Advisory Board of the Law Faculty of University of Prishtina; Member of the Board of Directors of SCARDIAN Insurance Company; Member of National Trade Facilitation Committee; and Member of Steering Council of the National Qualification Authority. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Society of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo, teaching management and strategic management certification modules since January 2009. He served as Vice President of Kosovo CSR Network, Chairman of the Fiscal Consultative Council, Chairman of the Business Community Office at the Kosovo Assembly, Consultant at German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), Consultant at a World Bank funded program, Director of an International Film Festival, etc. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management, and is an alumnus of the U.S. Library of Congress Open World Leadership Program (OWLP) and Joint Vienna Institute (JVI). He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Elesa Kqiku serves as Administrative Officer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, bringing strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to the team. With a background as a German language teacher with over eight years of experience, she has developed proven expertise in working with diverse groups, fostering collaboration, and delivering results with attention to detail. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from AAB College and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language with a specialization in German Language from Universum College. Fluent in Albanian, German, and English, Elesa is recognized for her work ethic, creativity, and ability to adapt quickly to new responsibilities.

Albana Sylejmani serves as Junior Policy and Communications Officer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, supporting the organization’s policy, advocacy, and communications initiatives. She is a senior undergraduate student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), pursuing a degree in Management & Entrepreneurship and Peace & Conflict Studies, with an immersion in Communication. Albana has gained practical experience through internships in accounting, training coordination, and project management, equipping her with a strong foundation in financial reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.

Aulona Sinani is a legal professional and Attorney-at-Law with a growing practice in civil, commercial, labor, and dispute-related matters. She currently serves as Pro Bono Legal Consultant at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, where she contributes to legal support and broader institutional initiatives, including work connected to the legal and arbitration ecosystem. In parallel with her role at AmCham, she has developed her professional practice through Selimaj Legal Consulting, where she has been engaged since 2023 in legal drafting, case preparation, court representation, and advisory support for both domestic and international clients. Licensed by the Kosovo Bar Association, Aulona brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal work, with a strong focus on professionalism, client service, and the continued development of her expertise in legal and dispute resolution matters.

Fatos Sylaj is the Chief Technology Officer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, where he leads the organization’s technology strategy, digital infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. With more than two decades of experience in information technology, network engineering, systems administration, and cybersecurity, he brings a strong combination of technical expertise and strategic leadership to strengthening AmCham’s operational resilience and advancing secure, modern digital solutions. His career spans senior leadership and technical roles across the private sector, business organizations, and international environments in Kosovo. He has previously served as Chief Technical Officer at Arbresh-Soft, CTO at Servus, and held long-term technology roles supporting institutions including Baker Tilly Kosovo, SCAAK, the Kosovar Stability Initiative, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo. Earlier in his career, he also worked as Technical Lead at IPKO Telecommunications and as CEO of ToqiNetworks for more than 16 years, delivering technology services and infrastructure solutions to a diverse range of clients. In addition to his role at AmCham, Fatos has served since 2020 as System and Network Administrator at NATO KFOR – MWA, operating in a mission-critical environment that further reflects his expertise in secure connectivity, infrastructure reliability, and resilient systems design. His professional focus includes network engineering, cybersecurity, systems integration, and infrastructure modernization, with a proven track record of building secure, scalable, and dependable IT environments.

Arlena Krivenjeva is a communications and public relations professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, media relations, and public outreach. She has built a strong track record in shaping public narratives, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting institutions and organizations in enhancing their visibility and reputation. Over the course of her career, Ms. Krivenjeva has worked across diverse sectors, contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies that promote transparency, strengthen public trust, and effectively convey complex policy and organizational messages to broader audiences. Her expertise includes media relations, content development, campaign management, and advisory support on public positioning. She is recognized for her ability to bridge communication between institutions and the public, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging. Her work often involves close collaboration with senior leadership, media representatives, and key stakeholders, both locally and internationally.

Frymëzim Isufaj is a former diplomat with multifaceted experience leading Kosovo’s consular representation in the United States. From September 2020 to April 2022, he served as Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in New York, overseeing a wide array of consular services—including passport issuance, visa processing, and community outreach—while strengthening ties with the Kosovan diaspora and local stakeholders. During his tenure, Ambassador Isufaj built strong relationships with community groups and emphasized the importance of having a dedicated point of contact at the Consulate to address the needs and concerns of the Albanian‑American community. As a senior diplomat, he combines deep knowledge of U.S.–Kosovo relations with operational oversight of diplomatic initiatives, community engagement, and organizational leadership. In his current role in Washington, D.C., Frymëzim continues to contribute to Kosovo’s representation and outreach efforts across North America. He joined AmCham in June 2025.

Veton Ethemi is an experienced photography professional. He completed his primary education at “Dardania” School and graduated from “Gjin Gazulli” Technical High School. He pursued higher education at the Faculty of Economics, complementing his academic background with specialized training in technology and networking through Cisco-certified programs. Veton’s professional journey began at an early age in 1989, assisting in the family-owned photography shop, Foto “Nikon” in Prishtina. Since 1999, he has independently managed the business, merging his artistic talent with strong managerial skills. With a career spanning over two decades, Veton has filmed more than 2,000 football matches live, building a rich and reliable portfolio. He is an officially authorized cameraman for UEFA and is entrusted with selecting and coordinating the camera crews for Kosovo’s national football team matches. In addition to his long-standing engagement in media since 2009, Veton has spent the last ten years working as a freelancer on high-quality video productions, including VIP docuseries and television projects. These experiences have further refined his technical expertise and creative capabilities. Driven by a deep passion for photography and a strong commitment to quality and professionalism, Veton’s work has consistently earned high praise across institutions. Renowned for his precision, reliability, and work ethic, he stands out as a distinguished professional in the field of photography and videography.

Agon Osmani is a media and communications professional with over two decades of experience in journalism, editorial leadership, and public outreach. He currently serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Klan Kosova, a position he has held since 2022, where he contributes to content strategy, public communication, and the development of digital media. Prior to this, he was Editor-in-Chief of Zëri from 2020 to 2022, leading editorial direction and strengthening the outlet’s public engagement and outreach. From 2014 to 2020, Osmani worked as an editor at Koha, playing a key role in advancing online journalism and digital content development in Kosovo. Earlier in his career, he held several senior editorial positions at Zëri between 2011 and 2014, including journalist, editor, and Editor-in-Chief, building a strong foundation in media management and strategic communications. He also gained experience in broadcast media as a journalist at Klan Kosova, further expanding his expertise in public communication and media engagement. In addition to his work in journalism, Osmani has been engaged as a public outreach and communications consultant, supporting initiatives focused on public information, stakeholder engagement, and strategic messaging. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong profile in media and public relations, combining extensive experience across print, television, and digital platforms with leadership in editorial management and communication strategy.
