Prishtina, February 27, 2026 – American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Committee convened this week under the chairmanship of Vullnet Kusari, bringing together member companies to address key developments affecting Kosovo’s pharmaceutical and broader healthcare sector.

Focused on problem-solving and strengthening institutional dialogue, the meeting centered on the Government’s 2026 Legislative Agenda and its implications for the life sciences and healthcare ecosystem. Particular attention was devoted to forthcoming legislation concerning medicinal products and medical devices, as well as other regulatory initiatives expected to shape the sector’s operational and compliance landscape in the year ahead.

Committee members emphasized the importance of early, meaningful, and structured private-sector engagement in legislative and regulatory processes. As new draft laws and amendments move forward, AmCham reiterated its commitment to ensuring that members’ expertise and industry perspectives are constructively reflected through evidence-based proposals and continuous dialogue with relevant institutions.
